Up & Over Garage Doors
Up & Over garage doors are the most common of applications. These are single piece doors that swing out through the door opening to create the drive through.
These can either be used as a manual or automatic door if paired to the correct electric operator.
All of these garage doors can be supplied and fitted with either a factory steel frame (Recommended) or installed into your existing timber frame if it is in good order.
Canopy Type Garage Doors
Best suited for manual operation, Canopy Doors utilise an operating mechanism which is contained onto the frame with vertical tracks & rollers with no tracks protruding back into the garage. The door panel protrudes one-third from the garage when open.
Canopy Doors are best for suited for replacing every day doors where budget and space is a factor. Supplied with either 2 point or 4 point security locking these doors are still very secure. The door tension is adjusted on site to suit the customer for ease of lifting or closing. All doors are supplied with an “Anti-Drop” device to prevent the door from crashing down in the event of cable or spring failure. These doors are available as single size only up to 8’.0” wide.
Retractable Type Garage Doors
Retractable Doors can either be used as a manual door or best suited for automatic operation. These utilise tension springs on the internal side of the frame with horizontal tracks protruding back into your garage. These doors open completely into the garage with no protrusion of the door panel outside.
Supplied with either 2 point or 4 point security locking these doors are still very secure. Paired with an electric operator these doors are ideal for automatic operation. The door tension is adjusted on site to suit the customer for ease of lifting or closing. These doors are supplied with “Anti-Fall” in the guise of a multiple spring cluster in case of spring failure. These doors are available in single or double door sizes up to 16’.0” wide.
